Analysis of one sequence from the rough cut

We had filmed a extreme close up of the person's lips. When doing the rough cut for our music video we decided to use that as a base track. However we had noticed that the actual style of the base track did not go with our music genre. It also didn't go with the beat of the music as I have seen in actual music videos. The use of close up on lips are usually used in music videos which have words repeated. For example Voodoo child by Rogue traders.
